Title: Want to give planes another try Post by: SK1701 on October 16, 2015, 03:48:01 PM Hello everybody. I have been flying quads for a year now. Some time last year, I gave planes a try with the FT Flyer. I did not get a very large space to try it and I ended up crashing it. I am not very happy with the build quality and I want to try a fresh build during this vacation. I have an EMAX CF2822 motor, several 9g servos, a 3S 900mAh Lipo and 5mm depron sheets. Could you please suggest some good trainer planes I can build with this setup?

Since it requires very little power, you could multiply all linear dimensions by 1.5, for a 36" span, so that you can use your CF2822. Best wishes. Here was the thread: Vishal Sir the Mini Floater is a real beauty. It looks fun to build (I prefer building to buying RTF) and flies pretty tame as well, which is good for a guy used to quads. And the price is really good as well for a complete package.
