Hello!!!

From my previous post I got a few more doubts. What exactly is the difference between 2.4ghz and 72mhz r/c (apart from the freq used of course!!I'm not such a big jerk!!) And how exactly are the different channels implemented?? I mean are the time multiplexed channels or is the freq of each channel slightly diffeent from th others, but somewhere around 2.4 ghz??

Thanx to everyone who responded to my previous question and to all those who will respond to this one!! Smiley Smiley

In Thrust, I Trust

I do not have a very clear idea, but what I know is that 2.4 is faster for data transmission so maybe it causes the signal to reach faster. The other thing is that 2.4 has a lot of channels available and most 2.4 systems switch to an empty
channel if they experience interference. This switch happens in about 2 miliseconds and thus the pilot does not tend to notice a glitch. Thus glitches tend to occur less on 2.4.

Hi Panditji

From the wording of your query it sounds that you are connected
with the telecom or networking industry.

this question has been asked many times before - do a
search on RC groups and RC universe - two of the busiest
RC related forums (in case you didn't know)

You find reams written on 2.4 ghz - enough to keep you going till
you retire.
