Title: which website to order from??
Post by: Saurabh Joshi on December 01, 2014, 12:09:44 AM
This one is for experienced shoppers..
which website has the best and fastest
delivery? I mostly require heli, quads and
spares for the same.. i won't mind a price
difference of a couple of dollars here and
there.. but it should reach me at the
earliest..

RC Bazaar is good in terms of delivery but if you want a wide range of quality products try Hobbyking but that takes a lot of time for delivery (or if u can afford try EMS for ever order). You can also find different sites in India where they sell Hobbyking products, not all products of course. Choose wisely

Most of the lhs in India ship orders within 24 h after payment is cleared.but they can't guarantee the delivery time because its upto the courier companies.4~5 days is  minimum delivery time in some cases it may cross a week.for me ems is best in India low-cost   till now my packages through ems didn't crossed 4 days.one more thing they correctly update the current status.if you are buying form hk or eBay international delivery may take 15~30 days if it is through airmail.since you are into heli can buy hiller hover from rcbazaar.com(service is better but bit tough to get spare parts) or check rcdhamaka they have draw align helis from 450-700 size( with spare parts).remember once the order is shipped the seller can't do anything.so some patience is always required.or contact bhavesh sir ( indian hobby shop) he can bring item you wanted from HK within 1-2 weeks.I think hk 450 heli parts are compatible with hiller.

I would recommend RCBazaar for Heli and general RC parts, quadkopters.com for multirotor parts and rcmumbai.com for batteries (Wild Scorpion are generally well priced and excellent quality) and all other parts. I received my order from quadkopters within 4 days when I chose free shipping and rcmumbai took the same time. I would also recommend Indian.Hobby.Shop on Ebay. All these stores generally have excellent customer support. My only gripe is that RCMumbai does not reply at their email ID but Chintal Sir (the owner) answered all my doubts via PM on this forum.

I would recommend based on what I bought from them:

1. RCbazaar.com for rx+tx, lipo batteries & balsa wood.
2. Indian Hobby Shop (ebay.in shop) for aluminium bars, UBEC, battery monitor & lipo chargers.
3. RCskyhobby.com for fuel (Nitro) & fuel tank et all..
4. Aliexpress.com (for anything you can think of but can't find in India - Takes upto 60 days for the parts to arrive)
5. nex_gen_gadgets (ebay.in shop) for servos.
6. robosoftsystems.co.in for brushed motors/plastic gears.

Avoid thehobbyshop.in at all costs...(will save you a lot of heart burn!!)
