Nik, :) a little suggestion - since you say you are new to the forum, please refrain using sms lingo. That is one thing that upsets our moderators.  ;)
Hope you don't mind.

Post by: Nik on April 06, 2014, 11:20:19 AM
Hmm sorry essaargee ... But I did not understand Wht you are talking about...

Title: Re: Homemade Rc speed boat
Post by: VC on April 06, 2014, 09:15:37 PM
Nik, the boat looks fine, maybe you want to add a topside to it and detail it a bit. Have you sailed her as yet? Is he balanced?

What essaargee was trying to tell you is that abbreviated English, lik this u kno wht i mean, is not appreciated here and that you are requested to communicate in the expanded version of the language.

Post by: Nik on April 06, 2014, 09:23:53 PM
Yes vc I checked a balance .. it's balance properly..
And yeah I use a top cover...
Some painting and detailing is remain..

Opps sorry ... I understand  vc and essaarge... Thank you .. :)

Post by: Nik on April 07, 2014, 10:42:13 PM
Okk gaurang I got it ..
But in image one you send me turn fins... In this left and right fin both fins are in different
Length...
Is this both are in equal Length or diferente?

Post by: gaurang.1972 on April 07, 2014, 11:25:01 PM
Keep in mind it's a single prop boat which will always turn better to the right, left hand turns at speed should be wider, after all, all races have only right hand turns in competition if u prefer left turn than make bigger turn fin for left and smaller for right side and u can also install one turn fin also

Title: Re: Homemade Rc speed boat
Post by: topalle on April 18, 2014, 04:03:41 PM
Put the electronics in an airtight box. Cut/melt holes for wires. pull the wires and fill the hole with waterproof m-seal. hope that should do.

For ESC.. Cut open the Black heatshrink on the ESC. Remove the heatsink... it is is the aluminium plate.. Mix araldite regular( not the Clear 10 minutes). Apply it on the entire ESC. do not leave any open spots on the ESC. then take a wooden icecream spoon and scrape out the entire Araldite on the surface of the small black components that will be in contact with the heat sink. you can use a cloth to wipe the surface. Ensure that you only wipe the surface.Replace the heatsink and use a couple of rubberbands to hold in position.
for RX-Put the RX in a large balloon and wrap the mouth of the ballon with a cello tape.
For Motor there is nothing requried.
Battery: Can take a little water.Needs to be dried before use after it is wet. Although can cause corrosion issues in the long run. You can use a couple of ballons on the battery as well.
