Post by: roopeshkrishna on December 02, 2011, 04:32:21 PM
Good evening all of my Friends and Colleagues..was a little bad health..but was working on my new projects..so here sharing some of my latest works..this one is my second INS Virat, in to 4.7 meter scale, and fully RC. she is massive, after my first one, scaled in to 2. 6 meter..fully out of thermocol, tissue and seasoned paper, she weighs only 9 Kgs, including two battery packs, of 12 Volts 7.2 amps.

she is powered by 4 reworked motors, all brushed, in to 120 watt each, and all needed equipments are hand made including the powerful TX and RX, in to 12 Channel.

i completed it in a hurry, to meet the demo date dead line..even though its incorporated all things, include thrust pumps in both ends, working cranes, working lifts and all..

she is so powerful with given motors, but we need only a little power to pull her..so a lots of running time in pool...and she is equipped with a Radio Guidance, in 360 degree to achieve a good formation with all accompanying ships in same scale.

crane is made off stiff foam board, and can hold up to 1.2 kgs..and full working..

the whole radio, and guidance unit is hand made, using all industrial electronics components..as there is no margin for error, the Rx and Tx are built in to a powerful level with all narrow band spectrum idea..all outer case are made off high stiff foam board, and all controls are customized for easy and flawless operations..

sorry..wrong photo..

all radio components are tropicalized after final assy, to avoid any malfunction..

an analoge meter is intended to show the battery level and RF strength, with a flick of a switch..no margin for error, as she is equipped with a radio guidance...

I almost expected the Steam catapult to launch a plane. That is probably the only component that does not work. FANTASTIC piece of art ,sir
Avijit

Avijith..later i added a catapult, but not by steam, on her, but disconnected the wiring harness later, because within the area of Academy, the shooted planes was not able to fly..and also added a missile launcher..works nicely..

Augustine Sir..a million thanks for a great rarest photography..worth a lifetime.. :salute:

Rajesh..please avoid making and expirimenting with RADIO. instead you can buy a professional radio set, is safer, for a limited extent, because a Radio set, powered up to 800 mWatt, is some safer to humans. but if you make a TX up to 1.5 to 2 watt, you will be in great danger, with Electro Magnetic Radiation, and if it is with a 3 or 4 watt in hand held mode, it can gradually melt your brain tissue and can lead a permanent brain damage, and it can also cause various cancers. especially, in males, a powerful TX creats severe abnormalities, in genital organs, especially in vas deferences, and prostate. it also leads severe danger with brain, as a high frequency radiation makes dielecrtic heat, beacsue of the polar molecule vibrations..so, please avoid playing with radio waves. a sfest level of a hand held radio system is about 800 mW to 1200 mW. above that you must need an antenna system with counter poise. in such situation you must wear a radio static vest or strip, and make sure it is Earthed properly. if you are an RC modeler, on daily basis, make sure you have a static absorber strip with you. and stand with bare feets in sand if possible. so, buy a good radio set, and use with it. a hand held receiver with a high watt TX is surely a danger..consider this words as a request, but not as an advice, because i learned all things from my own life..

once again

i will follow your advice

thanks for all

once again great work :goodjob:

Rajesh, its not an advice..but once again its a request..if you take a coupled out put from your 2.4 Ghz Tx, to a more powerful RF final amp, and feeded with a concentrating antenna, and, keep a piece of meat in front of it..increase power to max..make sure the piece of meat is in direct path of radio emission..place it on a non metallic surface..after few minutes we can see the meat start to boil..but, please do not try it..only for a reference..so, please avoid a high power handheld Tx..to obtain a logest range of Radio, we do not need a high power Tx..if your radio system is perfectly tuned, from modulator, local oscilator, IF, and final, then even a 3 volt circuit is capable to send radio signals to a vast area..you can also try to add a input booster to Rx, so it can detect even micro volts from Tx..a simple 2SC 2570, or C 9014 based circuit will do best. also can try Flange/ Cage antenna systems for long range propagation of Radio.making a radio set is not a challenge..its all easy and takes about 2 to 3 hours to make a 4 channel proportinal radio set..you can also use a FM wireless mic as a Tx and radio board as Rx..works well..

VC Sir..its sure..i have some action videos..but recorded it in HD 1080 format..so, will add a good formation video soon..

How did you manage to build a ship that big? Its massive. Might want to share the build log of some sort just to understand the complexity involved.

Pankaj..its not complex to make a craft in any size..its all simple and creative..will add a good build log of making a craft from thermocol..

Roopesh and Gusty,

:) Seen the results of both of you.

{:)} It is the result of zeal and dedication to a subject that is both a livelihood and hobby (or shall I say 'passion'?) in an individual's life. If one enjoys what one does - and does it whole-heartedly, it becomes devotion. This, if applied to spirituality, the result is a sage or saviour. That is to say, in other words, you both are nearer to that, in your lines of pursuit. Very few people are blessed with that fortune, which is beyond ordinary comprehension. :salute:

May God bless you. Keep enjoying what you do. Its the 'Thapas' of one kind. :hatsoff:

Good morning, respected Modelers, Friends and Colleagues..please never compare me with Respected Veterans, because all of my works are too humble, when compared..i always think about the dedication and responsibilities took by the respected veterans to look after us all even while we sleeps..in calm..among those efforts, all of my efforts are only a very little..but still i am too happy that, all of my works are dedicated to our Country, and its ,yes all are a 'Thapas..'. to me model making is not a passion or a hobby..and still working to our Country in same segment of model making..and a million thanks for blessings from you all.. :salute:
