Hi Ved! Welcome! Nice to meet another Goan on RCI.. Nice boat u have there.. I come to Marcel often.. lets meet up.. Why have you fit a prop adapter to the end of the shaft?

Sorry.. Don't know much about boats.. Some boat experts will be able to help you out here.. I've never seen a airplane prop adapter on a boat though.. If you need any help with the RC aspect of it then get in touch..

If you need boat propellers, better refer to rcforall.co.in
I think you can consult, RC or Maharana about this!

Dear Ved (Vedanta),
I am bit confused with these pictures :headscratch:,
(a) I don’t find any rudder / servo etc. in your boat.
(b) The motor is not aligned properly with the driving shaft & reason to use an aero prop. adopter.
Have you got the right kind of propeller? if so post the specification for the same.

Note: don't create too many posts for the same subject.

Infact you can mount this motor on a platform installed on a servo with a small propeller which will push this ahead. and by moving servo arm you can actuallly move the motor direction and hence change boat's direction.  That would be a safer option than the current setup. in that you dont even need to pierce a hole at the bottom of the boat.
