hey Ghanshyam!!!!

Rooster has built Atlas Van, here is the link.
http://www.rcindia.org/boats-kites-trains-and-all-others/scratch-build-atlas-van-lines-boat/

he has given very much details and the material used. Material is SunPack is generally used as advertising board for printing

if u want to make same boat as hobbyking, with same length then go for same setup used.

i think u can use
motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8593
ESC: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10627
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8946

moreover u can get in touch with Rooster, there is one more guy Maharana, u can find this guy on the same thread contact him, he can assist u on this as well

wish u all the best!!!

Thanks a lot sir,

Ya i am in touch with shreekant sir (Rooster).....

I also thought to use

ESC: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8946 X  2
MOTOR: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8594 X 2
BATTERY: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7295 X 2

And planning to built from balsa..

L'enfant Terrible du RCIndia

I REALLY wouldn't like to address Mr. Satyabrata Maharana as just "one more guy Maharana" He is, after all, in a league all by himself.

Before you jump to any conclusions, I am sure there was no disrespect intended, but such casual language and references can be a put off. Sorry if I sound a little old fashioned here.

Admin, could we have a little bit more courtesy and decorum enforced on this forum? Please?

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

VC bhai -  I cannot (or more accurately, I should not) hold people responsible... people who have not met Mr Maharana in person to revere him at the same level as someone who has.  I am sure being in his company would change the perspectives of most people here, and that would be reflected in how he is addressed.  But in this virtual only world, it is unfair to expect and ask for anything more than basic courtesy/dignity (which sort of directly means no name calling, no cussing etc).

I hope you understand my dilemma here.

Still the outer covering is left out.

Planing to use same material of 1mm and after that will apply carbon fiber cloth on it to make it strong.

Have you glassed it already? if yes, which epoxy did you use?
I am planning to make a fiber glass fuselage for this plane i am building, but I am not sure which epoxy to use.

Sir,
I applied fiber cloth on the bottom part, I used Araldite as epoxy...

But i din got a satisfactory result, The best way is to go to auto shop who modify bikes or make Bath tub...
I am going to visit a factory who produce bath tub using fiber cloth, I am also planing to make a boat from fiber glass.....If you get some information regarding the making and the epoxy do PM me.....

sure!
I had good result with Araldite but its is pretty expensive and difficult to sand.

And please don't call me sir, call me SunLikeStar or Amit if you like Smiley
