That motor is about 1.5bhp, or equivalent to a 0.46 glow engine! You'll need a BIG lipo too. A 12-15amp ESC would have burnt out as soon as you opened the throttle. Can we see a photo of the hull? Can even run them on 6S if needed I really recommend those; More importantly rather tel us the boat size and the prop size u intend to fit.... That would help in even deciding what kind motor u need.
