Keeping original kit as a reference i am using 3mm foam boart for structure. Going to do few small changes in construction but i am sure it will be sailing with "Alert"

I remember the air-tricycle that you had made in 1987 while we were in living in Ameerpet, Hyd. The tricycle was powered by a Cox engine and Baba's He-man was the passenger. Smite looks sexy in it. Spent half day on it and was able to make only structure. I thought to complete it before Monday but any way will have to give 2-3 hrs tomorrow to set rc into it.

Post by: ashok baijal on April 07, 2014, 09:04:03 AM Great build. I am tempted to build one but with two Smites already in my workshop I have to hold myself back. First need to restore them back to health. Do you plan to strengthen the underside by a layer of fibre glass as the foam could tear off if the boat hits some undergrowth in the pond?
