Title: Using A Devo F12 E TX for Volantex ATOMIC V792-4 RC Boat
Post by: adonisarchie on May 11, 2018, 02:27:43 PM
Hi,
I have a Devo F12 E transmitter and would like to use it to control my Volantex ATOMIC V792-4 RC Boat (PNP).
I have put in a RX 601 receiver and it is working well with the Brushless Water-cooled ESC 40A that came with the boat.BUT i don't have reverse throttle.
I wanted to know how to enable reverse through the transmitter.
has anyone used this drone transmitter on a surface craft?

ps. I use the DEVO F12e to control  my 3d printed jet drive boat. that is running a Hobbywing WP 1040 40A brushed ESC with a 540 motor and there the reverse throttle works (but being a jet drive the reverse is useless)

check if ur esc have reverse. if so then you may have to set the esc for reverse function.and then instead of throttle stick use the aileron.

my catamaran has a reverse function. but I never use it. i only use it for my scale model boat.
