As far as the Sparrowhawk XXT what have you done to modify or make it unique, like alternative bodies and parts from other vehicles that work on the xxt?

and if it is allowed what sites do you frequent that have replacement parts, upgrades, and/or alternative parts.


I have added a Castle Creations Sidewinder 5700kv, two fans for motor and servo, and different types of tire/rim combo's.


my goal is to find parts like aluminum chassis's, a superior spur that won't shred (warning possible mental image ahead and not in a good way)  my three spurs that have been replaced look so bad that the only similar description would resemble your frank's and beans after a female with braces suffered a sneeze attack..........mutalation!!!... sorry its early and im tired!

No metal chasis and spur from thunder tiger. They only offer cF chasis.
I am suffering from the same spur problem dude.
What i did is i bought a T4 metal spur, drilled a hole in centre and added some shims sideways (cz its too loose even after full tightening), and this thing works nice.

Sparrowhawk xxt hasn't gained the popularity that I hoped and it breaks more often then not. I even baby it to keep it running! If it is not the spur gear it's the clutch. I spent 500 on truck charger and lipo. Then another 160 for a Sidewinder motor. This thing is really fast but it's embarrassing to show your friends how awesome it breaks!!!!

Have you tired AE parts on it?They are made by the same manufacturer.There might be a chance that you can use them.(I don't know the equivalent model of the XXT in the AE lineup.Might be a T4.1)

No, the T4.1 is 2WD..
Sparrowhawk, on the other hand, is 4WD..

Then what is the XXT based off of?
