Hi guys I have built a Rc car for less than ₹1500
The electronics are

Servo - JR 519 ( second hand )( got it for free from a Aeromodeller )
Battery - wolf pack 1000mah 7.4 v( 550)
Motor - no idea( got it along with the car body )
Esc - hobbyking 20 amp brushed esc( 700)
Body - cheap Chinese Rc car bought from China bazaar(250)

So the total cost is ₹1500

This car is supercool , it can also drift .

I said that I was not very sure , I guessed it by thinking of a real car at 60 and then this at full speed . I will try to make a video of it in full speed also .

Sir , it depends on the scale , I would recommend you a standard size plastic servo only as it has about 3.5 - 4.4 kg torque , hummer is a off roader , on the dirt the force should be a lot  that would try to pull the wheels on one side .

You can get a rough calculation if you can find out the maximum revs on the brushed motor. Since it's a simple gear reduction, you can calculate the theoretical top speed easily.

@devangflyer
Easy to estimate.
Standard conversion is 30mph=44fps=48kmph
So if it is going over 60kmph, it must be covering about 55ft every second...

What tx are you using? Please explain how you would setup reverse if at all the ESC supported, with a normal tx, not those ground transmitter. My nephew wants help on converting a Maisto static model to RC. Thanks in advance...

I'm using a Futaba t8FG Super , it is actually used for planes and helis . A ground remote usually has a spring attached to the throttle stick to keep it in the middle and so if you want to use a reverse esc , just keep the stick in the middle or add a spring there .

This must be a very basic question for a car guy but, how do we setup a normal plane/heli tx to use a brushed ESC with reverse function? Any help? Yes, I ve seen some toy cars where the throttle stick is in centre for neutral, back for reverse and front for normal drive but here, we are talking about mode1/2 style transmitters... Anyway we can achieve this, or there's no way? Thanks.

There's nothing different , you do everything same as you would do in a plane & heli

Mode doesn't effect anything only throttle would be on right side in mode 1

You calibrate the esc with the stick in the middle , so the esc takes  50 as 0 and 0 as -50

But throttle is 0 or 100 right? How to go reverse is my question...

Put the car ESC plug on the elevator channel, which is already centered and calibrate it to those stick limits. Use the rudder/aileron channel for steering.

That should work too. I bought a used brushed ESC with with reverse from one of the forum member but the throttle wont at all, however, BEC seems to work because a servo connected for steering works fine. Nothing on the board seems to be burnt. Devang I apologise for hijacking your thread, I was unsure if I should start a new topic.
