Hey,
Can anyone suggest me some topics based on radio controlled cars that I can use for my last year Automobile Engineering PROJECT???
Any topic is welcome. R & D about it can be considered.
That would be very useful. Thank You!

You could try and develop a low-cost active suspension system for RC cars. I'm sure the buggy owners would love it. Cheesy
As far as doing this for your final year project, it's not an innovative one; Active suspension is already being used on some high-end production cars.
I think enough R&D is done about this already, it just needs refinement now.
The hard part is, you have to miniaturise the existing technology to go on a RC car.

This is a fine example of Bose active suspension at work--

Good luck  Thumbs Up

@anjanbabu: Excellent idea...!!! Grin Smiley Hats Off I would now gather more info about it... & I will see what I can do about it.
I have already studied about this topic in my previous subjects & I know how it works. Problem is about scaling the components to 1/10 of its size so that I can fit it into a Buggy. Well, I am sure I can come out with a solution.
Thnx mate.  Smiley

You could probably use some high torque servos for actuation and if you could possibly map the terrain with something like a miniature LIDAR or similar, the ride would be amazingly smooth depending on the resolution of the system.  Thumbs Up

Keep us posted on your progress, we'd like to try it to. Cheesy
