HELLO ALL RCI MEMBERS,

After a long time found an interesting project ....

I want to build a huge electric rock crawler for photography..

some specs that are running through my mind rite now..

3ft length by 2.5 ft width.....and has to be 4X4 ...need to use in farm like terrain

Should have a ground  clearance of at least 500 mm....max speed 10-14 km/h...payload capacity 120 kgs.(considering the camera operator to be huge fat man Tongue )

And of course it has to be RC controlled.....specially turnigy9x/flysky9x

any ideas and suggestions would be of great help.

regards
mada

Yes it's a great idea and it's possible to build an rc crawler for your purpose. From thd dimensions I am gussing you are planning for  1/5 th scale. In that case you got 2 options, either to buy an rtr crawler or fabricate one for your needs. If you got the experts and tools to design one, I suggest you go ahead with the project and build a good chassis 1st and the work on the other parts from there. As for the camera arm you can use hydraulics to operate it in which way you want. All parts are easily available online for the purpose. If money is no constraint then you can definitely build a robust rc crawler for photography....Best of luck.
