Only the Motor is the same as  the E-Revo, E-Maxx and Savage Flux..
The speedo is a Mamba Max Pro, which is the same speedo found in the Savage Flux 2350..

Its only capable of 4s LiPo.. Not 6s like the Mamba Monster..

yea, you are right.

But you can use a 6s on a mamba pro. its the motor of the 2350 which gets hot on 6s that is why they dont recommend a 6s.

so since the motor is a castles neu, we can surely use a 6s

Its a GREAT 1/8 short course truck.Based off the RC8B .A very solid platform. The problem is,there are no TRUE 1/8 short course trucks out there. For some reason,I believe that the 1/10 short course trucks running 4pole 550 motors on 3s beat the purpose of this one but this is good. For some more money, you can get the Durango DESC410R which is the best racing sct out there. They had a small problem with the ring gears in the diffs but its sorted out now.For a basher, nothing beats the slash.(yet ;D)

But this thing looks solid, look at the tires....They r  very nice and the roll cage is the best part about it

BTW how are slash 4x4 shocks..?
Are they stiff on applying all the spacers with stock springs???
Do they leak?

Pretty good but will be replacing the caps and shafts soon.No leakage whatsoever.Slightly stiff with all teh spacers but I need them to be little soft.So I don't add all the spacers.

Never maxxed the slash out yet.

I doubt it will pull wheelies. Its got a MMP and isn't light by any means.6s and maybe, you can get wheelies. But on 4s,doubtful.

I guess wheelies will be at both 4s and 6s.
Though backflip will be dreams ;)

Since its not very heavy compared to a savage flux, i guess it can easily pull wheelies, though m no way sure.

i think centre of gravity also plays an important role in wheelie or backflip capability.

the savage flux has a high COG. the SC on the other hand has a low COG. so might not be possible.

and in the pics thats u posted it looks like most of the weight is towards the front.

Can you pull a wheelie on a buggy/truggy? Possible but difficult due the 3 diff which helps to distribute power. The SC8 is a RC8 on a RC8T chassis with some different components.

Ya but still if power is really immense, Physics fails.
Slash 4x4 on a 3s is a live example of a low CG vehicle pulling huge wheelies on comand.
So the same may be true for it, though in rare cases

Very true, IMO it may wheelie but no way backflip...! :D

Dude,the slash 4x4 isn't regarded as a car with a low CG.

I thought it was lower than a stampede or a revo ...!!! :giggle:

I guess......yeah

Dude, SCT are always low CG, not very low but almost same as truggies. And Slash is not a vehicle with a high CG.

Race bred SCTs have a low CG.(like the SC10,TEN SCTE etc). The slash is higher.

You trying to tell me that this Slash has CG like a monster truck or something...!!!

We are not referring to difference of 2-4mm here cz its not of some very practical use in doing a wheelie.

Slash has a pretty high LCG for a 10th scale car.. It can wheelie on the stock setup with stock battery!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8WomNGVsNU

Now tell me, does it have a low LCG? :D

Arpit, its CG might not be as high as a MT's but it is high compared to other SCTs.
