Title: CEN or REDCAT or Exceed ?
Post by: Mayurmiskin on December 27, 2014, 06:00:26 PM
Hi,

i am a newbie to this world and i want to buy a 1/10th truck. after a few days of research i found these three manufacturers in my budget of around 15k.

CEN MG10 MT3  :  This truck is a cheap one. comes with a good config. but the problem is it is not available on trusted sites like amazon

Redcat volcano s30 :  This is a lil costly than the cen and is easily available on AMAZON.com. It is a aluminium chassis and has a SH-18 engine. which i think is better than the CEN.

EXCEEd Infinitive : this is cheaper than redcat. and is also available on amazon.com

Now please help me to choose between these 3. and also guide me on the specs.Experienced people please help

Hey. Thanks for the info. But yes I have seen  the videos. But I wanna know  if ur freind has experienced a chassi bend after ramming or rough usage?  If u could get me in touch with him would help. Thanks :)

Generally the chasis is made up of Aluminium so its rigid n of course light weight. but one cannot push it to the limits. there are many more things other than chasis that may get damaged under hard conditions. Red cat is a pretty nice buggy but even it has its own limits. you can also check out some models at Sharma models website. they fit i n your budget n are readily available in india. no headache of importing them.

Sure thanks a lot. Regarding the chassi. I found that plastic is better. Because it's easy to replace. And if aluminum bends it will be a problem. Yes there are other problems. So do I conclude that aluminum chassi is not a good choice?

chassis dosen't bends easily.. they are gone under hardening process.. they are tough.. if u want more tough then go for hpi or other brands

But the CEN I am seeing is 9500 and redcat is 14000.which is a huge difference. So I was thinking to  go for the  cen. Wat say? I won't use it too much. Just as a hobby time pass
