Im pretty sure this was built as a shelf queen only. If you notice most of the modded machines (over the top) complete metal etc are normally new and never used.

All that aluminium is just of no use. Only 20% of the above parts seem unseful. Anyway for anyone who has driven a MERV on Lipos knows that its just a matter of time before some heavy duty upgrades are required.

@divyam: A fully modded savage USD value should be in the 900-1100 range without batteries. But trust me the fun that you can have on the MERV is something that no other rc car can compare to.

From what I've seen, the Savage doesn't need many mods! 
Will all the important mods, like the diffs. and all, come to $400?   

Either ways, I've heard that its a BLAST to drive! Only, for me, its too small to race on the track..

Sorry i meant the e-revo. The savage is pretty much bullet proof out of the box.

But there is always an exception to the rule. We have a owner in Mumbai who has spent close to 1.4L on the car with the radio.

His car has hit a Verified 142Kph, plud it handles really well on the track.

Well,whoever bought it must be some sort of collector.

I just don't see the sense in buying a good rc car and turning it into a shelf queen.its like putting a Liger in a small cage.

The Savage Im talking about is a nitro 4.6. So you can imagine the way it moves. It is geared for no wheelies, so the moment you punch the throttle it just goes with no signs of slowing down. Most of the time he runs out of space.

You cant really compare electric and nitro. Out of the box the Savage Flux HP is faster than the EBRE. But the EBRE rules all on track. No matter how many mods you put in the savage it will never be as good as the EBRE on track. But for offrading and show boating nothing beats the savage FLUX.

I wish more people would come to the track to see all these machines in action every sunday.

I wish I had such an awesome machine in the 1st place! 

The day you come to the RadiCO track you can test drive all the possible cars. So when you do have to buy a car it will make your decision easier.

Now thats another reason to visit mumbai.

I might pop in sometime during April when I come to visit my relatives.Long time till I buy a car on my own.I am wishing that a vorza just falls out of the sky, right in front of me.

Modding up a Savage.....
The savage is by far the toughest and most reliable Monster Truck available there.
And wid a lot of variants under its belt, it has the best offering.

BUT still think about it how would a crazy savage fan modify it.....

Integy is crap, too. Anything Integy. Be forewarned, everybody! Nothing Integy makes is machined correctly. I think to squeak under patent rights, they machine their parts just a couple of thousandths off, but just enough for it to perform badly. I have purchased Integy in the past, and never again.

Buy Integy, and you just wasted your money!
