Since there was a heated conversation about the ESC failing on the electric cars supplied by Hongnor Jammin, i sent a mail to the factory asking for clarification. Since i have take over Jammin distribution for India for the past 1 month i wanted to clear the air about their quality issues..I want my customers to have the best.. Hongnor is very quality conscience company, see the reply below..

Kindly enlighten me if any other brand is offering the same.. 

From Hongnor Jammin factory:
We have obtained an agreement with our ESC supplier and we would like to offer a 12-month warranty from the date of production on all Electronic Speed Controllers. The date of production will be indicated on each ESC starting from 2011. You can return any damaged/broken/defective ESC to HongNor office and we will arrange a new ESC for replacement soon.

We hope our customers receive the best customer service and joy driving HongNor electric cars..

Please elaborate on the point as to who has to bear the cost to send it the esc to the HongNor Factory?
Can we send the damaged esc to you incase of an issue, as you are the official HongNor representative in India?
Or does the hobbyist need to individually send the esc back to China himself?

Other major brands that are currently offering warranty, for eg. Maxamps have their warranty terms cut out clear that incase a customer faces a problem with their product he/she just needs to send the picture/video of the spoilt product to the distributor and the distributor arranges for the replacement.

Incase item needs to be sent back to CHINA directly, please give an estimate of the cost that the hobbyist will incur and also inform if the company will bear the return shipping or will it have to be borne by the hobbyist.

Hey Imran,

So far no complaints, if any may occur in the near future, i will be inspecting the ESC on behalf of Hongnor. After finding it defective from factory, i will act as per Hongnor's request. Even if it means that i have to send it back at my expense. I will abide by it..

Whatever makes my customers happy.. For the love of the Hobby..
