Hey  Grin So its the Revo 3.3 !!!!! I was with jayanth until about 6.30 pm today. We did only about 2 tanks of break-in today. Rest will be done tomorrow and i can finally run my car  Smiley Right now i'm reading through the manual, and its booooring

Just joking with you man.I too read the manual the moment I got home.I liked my slash's manual.Quite clear.The exploded views help a lot.Saved me lots of trouble.


If possible,get some video of the break in and tuning.

lol.. I gotta be honest with you. If Brushless trucks sounded, smelt and had a smoke trail like nitro, I would choose it over nitro any day because I wont have to tune it or clean up the gunk Cheesy

Brushless is easier to run, maintain and more powerful. But it just doesn't have the feel somehow. You know what I mean? There's something about a nitro rushing towards you bellowing smoke and the 2 stroker screaming its lungs out that makes a guy go weak in the knees Wink

But my next car will be a brushless for sure. I don't think I'll go the LiPo route though. I find 40mph fast enough to excite me and keep the damages to a minimum at the same time Wink I'll prolly buy a used nitro savage and get the conversion kit. That oughta keep costs down.

Anyways,nitro is always fun.Never smelt it yet but it must be fun to run a nitro.I think there was something at HK that would recreate the sound of a nitro in an electric.

Yup there's just nothing like a nitro truck, though electrics are faster, cleaner and easier on maintenance the feel of a nitro truck is completely different. Even if you are a mere spectator. Since we love the sound, smell and feel of a nitro, after-run maintenance is not a pain.

It sucks to sit and read through this manual after having bought the car. But anyway, less than 20 hrs before i can run it  Smiley

I was with him during break-in. I am proud to say that every time the truck stalled i re-started it with the glow plug Smiley Smiley will be present for the 3 tank break-in and the tuning to be done after it, tomorrow.

I'm happy for you. Though I don't think you've been reading the manual intently and that you're dreaming of the car while reading it. Else you would've known the difference between a glow plug and an Ez Starter Tongue

Get back to that manual now!

Man! You really do know how to guess what one's upto by reading a  few lines.
Its the very first manual i'm making a sincere attempt to finish reading. Damn! I didn't even read my D-SLR manual. Too bad i don't know the difference between the two. But actually i'm still reading that initial bit. Which explains carburator etc. I just flipped through the pages. ez-start is much later in the manual  Smiley

Absolutely no problem Smiley the ford figo has zero or no turbo lag at all. Wonder how it manages that. The brushless sounds something similar to the turbo spooling up.

The ritz diesel has very less lag too.Once it kicks in,you're kicked back in your seat.Damn its good. Grin.
