Title: Help with reassembling Slash 4x4
Post by: Danny on August 29, 2014, 06:01:35 AM
I have a Traxxas slash 4x4 which i decided to dismantle and i now i am having a tough time putting it back together. I had dismantled the back diff. to replace the oil and now i am unable to set the back section into the truck......  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: it just won't fit.

Is there anyone in Bangalore who can help me with setting this up properly.  :help:

What's happening when you try to put the rear bulkhead back on? I'll agree, it's a bit of a pain.

Where do you stay?

Does the rolling actually move the pinion gear for the rear diff? It might not be engaging with the diff.

it seems to yes. the bottom portion which is suppose to fit in the small notch does not fit and i cant put on any screws. I think i might have not put the diff togather correctly.

Does the diff turn smoothly in the case? If not, it could be an indicator that it wasn't built right.

Also, a tip for the next time you take the rear end apart for just a diff top up. You can get the bumper out and the rear half of the diff case and pull the diff out. It'll save you a lot of time.

I can't think of anyone nearby who has a slash.

Could you make a video to show us what's happening?
