Title: Insane Pricing !!!
Post by: saurabhhsrivastavaa on July 31, 2010, 11:28:22 AM
Hi Folks... !!!

I was browsing through rotor.co.in and saw this monster truck (Gasoline) Zenoah 26cc... It seems some unreasonable pricing... or is it a typo ???

Rs.1,10,000  :headscratch:

If the truck costs 1500 to 1800 USD, think of the customs  :giggle: Its no typo.

But I agree You can buy a nano.  ;)

how about buying a nano... and using advanced rc, convert it into an RC car... I am pretty sure with extra heavy duty servos and high end FPV setup, this is possible  :)

But the monster truck will be faster :)

yeah... but how bout the fun of getting a ride in a car that is remotely driven...  :o by a virtual driver ?? Isnt that more exciting than the speed  8-) though it is dangerous... i agree... but surely a prototype will be great... Just imagine a HD camera on a tripod on the driver seat with tilt and pan, rather than a real driver...  8-)

People will go  :o.

At one time, I actually wanted to convert my Indica into one...  :giggle:

Ya that will be cool. Others on the road will freak out :D. Can place a cardboard cutout of a dog or somthing on the drivers seat :D

Apparently one can spend as much as one wants on RC stuff ;)  Some of the equipment I see on our fields are costlier than BMWs/Mercs !

and in future the thing will become like this... rich people will convert bmw , audi , bentley , and RR as their toy.. poor people will go for tata indica , maruthi 800, nano ... at present rich fly great planes and align product and poor people fly hk and r2 products  funny very funny

i own its othr varient C-FG28000R,bought frm texas FR ALMOST 100000 RUPEES

Price is cz its a petrol truck, obviously u need everything to be a lot higher quality than a usual nitro rc to handle that 20 times more torque n power, + good engine+ nice exhaust+airfiltr+ efficient carbeuretter+ AND A VERY DURABLE SUSPENSION

i do own a baja 5t as well ,
ok this thin  might nt b as strong and hardcore basher as a 5t but has gt more speed
thn a 5t
but 5t is 20000 more costly thn this, so the price of this car is justified

check out my vids of both d petrol car at u-tube

even petrol tank on my FG is 700mL(10 times more than a nitro rc)

Folks... the member has already indicated that he will be careful about such stuff in future.  I would like to keep this forum as welcoming as possible to newcomers (to RC and/or to this forum), while still following some extremely basic rules.  So please do avoid further comments on this.

Basically, the policy is "All izz well" or "Take it easy" :giggle:

I know both VC and Dreamliner are speaking on my behalf and for this forum, and I appreciate that. But we should not end up alienating newcomers who act out of context initially (most likely unknowingly).  "Slap on the wrist"... YES  "Cluster bomb the whole village"... NO :giggle:

Sir, this point has been raised time and again by many. Could there be a system by which a new joinee has to read and understand 4 or 5 salient points and hit the "I Agree" button before he or she is actually registered on the forum?

I have added it here : http://www.rcindia.org/rc-india-forum/forum-usage-tips/ and the same is referenced in the registration agreement and welcome email.
