Hi any one tried making rc car with rc plane engine.

I am thinking of using 3.2cc diesel engine from http://www.sharmamodelaero.com
will that work? Huh?

Mugen Seiki Rules



Maybe a Heli engine should work. The aircraft engines have a different looking crankshaft system. Cars need clutches, so I doubt if the aircraft engines can accept clutches.

heli engine is very expensive and you need to do lot of modification. instead of that you can buy .21 car engine from hobbyking,the price will be around Rs.4,000/-(including shipping) Thumbs Up

Thanks Smiley, If I buy that 21 engine. what are the extra accessories needed?
Do i need to pay customs for that nitro engine?  Huh?
what mixtures make nitro fuel? Huh?

u need clutch set and exhaust manifold set. customs depends upon the parcel size and value of the parcel.

usually use 10%-20% nitro content fuel with 8%-16% oil content
