The only aim of this project was to build a really fast trike. So yes, this is my fastest car and after some Google-ing, figured I owned, potentially, the fastest RC trike in the world. It can easily do over a 100kmph on 4S, given, I iron out all existing linkage issues plaguing in the front end and gather some nuts to run it that fast. Most parts are custom designed and produced. I will be replacing off-the-shelf parts with custom machined/3D printed parts to optimize the design further. Current setup: Turnigy XK-3650 3650KV Sensored 540 motor Turnigy 60A V2 ESC 16g servo Rhino 3S 2200 Running weight 1-1.2kg Started this project pretty much a year ago, but effectively, it's a 2 month build really. I didn't have CSK screws back then, it's a early assembly picture, now all replaced. I'm not able to find a pinion that meshes well with the spur, so the spur get chewed up pretty quick. |
