Title: MAN 6x6 Military Utility Truck. Post by: controlflyer on November 12, 2014, 03:16:42 PM Members,
Here's my 1/24 MAN 6x6 crawler built from Redcat Sumo electronics, Losi drive shafts, and some other parts from salvaged parts. The body is a complete styrene, scaled, cut and fabricated to form this truck. the leaf spring suspensions are made from a traxxas recoil spring and the chassis is a aluminum channel, which was cut from a 1"x1/2" rectangle tube. The weight was an issue on the truck as it wasn't pulling itself on steep slopes, so that was taken care of by using a innovative new method in crawling. I have ran multiple coats on the body, hence the paint isn't appearing to be what I intended, I will strip the body down and sand it over again to give it a fresh coat of Desert Camo or a Matte black tone.
