Title: Need Help to repair My Maisto rock Crawler Post by: kkgmaliyil on July 10, 2016, 09:37:10 AM My maisto Rock crawler steering motor is turning to one side only. the mechanics is ok no fault in that. I have deassembled and checked. the motor is not turning in reverse direction .Please help me

I suggest that you check the driver circuit for faults like broken or a crack in the Mosfets which directly power the motor.......then you can change those Fets........if the motor is a brushed one then it will be even easier........just check the Fets which are not powering up with ~20V setting on a Multimeter. Title: Re: Need Help to repair My Maisto rock Crawler Post by: lastRites on July 20, 2016, 09:37:59 PM Get it to a local electronics repair shop. They will be able to help you out. Very difficult to troubleshoot chinese circuit boards from just pictures.
If you are ok with soldering just desolder the motor terminals and then directly hook it up to a battery to check if the motor and steering assembly is fine. Then you can put a multimeter on the wires going to the motor and use the remote to see the voltages..
