The Nexx8 is a little above your budget.I believe its around 27,000 from Murli.Plus you will need batteries and a charger as well. But its a good car.If you can stretch your budget to accommodate all of this,go ahead. But be careful,it will be damn fast. Also, its full potential will be reached on a track. There are no tracks in Varanasi.

I''m not sure the stampede 4x4 will come so soon over here.I would suggest the slash 4x4.A pretty good basher and racer(with a few modifications). But if you want to bash most of the time, look at the Stampede 4x4.(if it is available)

For 30k(plus batteries I think),you can get the Thunder Tiger MT4 G3.

So,if you want Traxxas vehicles, contact Kapil Jolly. Here is the website.

For the Nexx8,contact Murli(abovethelimit).I believe his website is not up and running yet.

For the MT4 G3,speak to rcskyhobby.

Nexx8 is a great value from money RTR electric Buggy. It really fast as it has 1700kv motor and can take up to 4s Lipo.. Why dont you consider Jammin SCRT10.. It has lots of winning records abroad, no need for hop up. Comes with center differential, 100% spares support.. Do some research.. For that budget you can even get Nitro buggy..

But I heard that the SCRT is the best on track Murli. This guy won't have access to one.Do you think it will hold up to bashing?

A.Shah,do you see yourself racing your car in the foreseeable future? If so,the Jammins will be quite good. And as Murli has already said, they are great value for money.

A nitro buggy is open but since you are a beginner,I won't recommend one. Also,I do't think anyone can help him with an engine in Varanasi.

SCRT10 is good but after researching about it i have found that it comes with a brushed 550 motor which is not capable of dilivering the amount of speed and power required so how to upgrade it to burshless.

I think Murli can give it to you with a brushless setup.

If you're planning on little racing and more bashing, Slash 4x4.. PERFECTLY fits your budget..
The Jammin is also a great option.. LOTS of wins under its belt..
It may even be good to start with the brushed motor.. Lot easier to control.. Then, when you get comfortable, go ahead and upgrade to brushless!

Jammin is Equally good with Bashing.. The suspension is Metal and the chassis is also metal.. I deal only with brush less.. The Cost of SCRT 10 without batteries is Rs. 23000 plus taxes..

3500 KV motor - Brushless with 45A ESC - Can take a 2s lipo

2s Lipo 5000 mah -Flight max or Turngy is $25 on hobbyking.com- Approx - Rs.1000, Cheap Lipo Charger (one time Investment) - Rs.1500.. I can order it for and clear the customs and get it delivered to you at actuals.. The run time on this battery will be 25mins at Full power, may be more also.. I drive my nexx8 with the same battery for 25mins..

You dont have to worry about spares.. You will save money on Hop ups - Its race ready as well if you want to race with it.

SCRT owner from Hydrabad now in B'lore is still bashing with..  See the video he posted..

Well,I was wrong then. The SCRT is also a good choice if you are ready to go over your budget a little.

But Murli,is a 45A ESC enough for a SCT?I sort of doubt it.Can you get something like a 60A ESC?According to me,45A is a little less.

45Esc Can take max 2S.. The batter box space is also that much only.. It is a well balanced car.. By the way the dog bones are also metal in SCRT..

2s is alright but the motor will draw more than 45A and it will get quite hot.I suggest you try to get ESCs with a greater capacity.

@A.shah:The slash 4x4 will cost Rs.25,000(without taxes and shipping I guess).Ask Kapil Jolly.

Your in the same situation as i was a month ago! Ultimately i decided to get a nitro and picked up a Revo 3.3 from traxxas. Either the Slash 4x4 or Jammin SCRT will be a good buy. It will be helpful if you post what you intend to use the car for, racing or bashing.

Ok if your sure you have access to a track then you can consider Slash or the SCRT. Alternatively, if you are so keen on racing a buggy or a truggy will make more sense :) all the best with your decision !

Jammin SCRT 10 has the most no of wins.. You google it and see it for yourself.. Buggy is more for Serious Racing and Truggy is a bit easy on the driver. I started with Buggy and till date it is the most exciting category with the highest no. of participation across the world..

Mumbai has a lot of Electric compared to Nitro.. Electric is cheaper on the longer run.. Nitro will be pain if don't know how to tune..

All Jammin Electrics sold by me comes with free tuning card. FYI.

If you will go to Mumbai,I would suggest the Nexx8 or the SCRT for serious racing. For casual racing and bashing, the slash will do just fine.

Either way,you won't be disappointed.Murli is a great guy.In Mumbai,I think you can get a slash from Siddharth(Tritech Hobbies).
