Title: Project HPI savage Flux XL
Post by: wingster on February 17, 2013, 07:54:28 PM
building is FUN for me more fun then running them afterwards !
Sharing with you guys project that i started with a simple e conversion of savage that ended much more then a simple e conversion,
IT started when i got a used complete savage x in a box disassembled just for amount Equivalent to ( 30$ approx ) ( with out engine ) ,
i bought it just for parts , but later on decided to make  it brushless but when it completed the project only 25% of it parts were used and rest were all new  :) ,
I divided the project in 3 phases :
1. Sorting out the parts
3. cleaning
4. start building

Sorting out the parts

That is an absolute beast! Great to see an e-converted Savage. Rarely see those, with the Savage Flux around.

How much did the whole build up cost you all inclusive?

How is the RC scene in Pakistan. Do you have any tracks? How is the market like?

IN past 30 years RC was all about flying here, rc surface was not given  proper importance not even consider as hobby , obviously it was not good for people like me but the good aspect about it that we got very excellent flyers and scratch builders , but last 5 years brought great changes , after brand like hpi , traxxxas and other came in main stream . in last 1.5 years we have seen almost 200% boost in interest of people in rc surface specially after rc surface scene changes around the world and most of the rc surface produced now is electric , a track have already been build and operational in 1 months in Islamabad and a track have already been built in Karachi at MASK rc club if it haven been shifted becoz of some security concerns as it was near some military installation and oil refineries ,
a long way to go in rc surface but not too long :)
