Title: Race track etc Post by: anwar on September 03, 2009, 02:30:24 PM Finally went to see a little bit of local RC Car racing action here in Qatar a few days back. The local enthusiasts built a track on their own on a vacant piece of land, and now they are getting the support of the authorities (as even some members of the ruling family are coming to participate there).
This looks like something a few friends can setup anywhere in India, and looks like a lot of fun. One thing i notice is that most of the car was not able to reverse.....is this normal or there are cars which can be reversed....?? But not allowed in racing. My truggy doesnt have one, since its meant for racing. Some people take the reverse out to avoid strain on the transmission in nitro cars. Electrics have reverse built into their ESCs. I rarely use the reverse, but its a nice to have feature. |
