Go for stampede 4x4 VXL.
Tough & durable. Slash is its cousin & with slight modification it can be converted to & vice versa.

Thanks firefly.

Does power-up help in for Stampede, after buying it? am thinking of doing power-up before moving back to india.

I know it's a program available only for USA customers. but has anyone customized it or upgraded the Traxxas Stampede, after purchase?

http://www.traxxas.com/v2/powerup/

How about the spares for Traxxas Stampede?
does Stampede support wheeling?
Bashing -  can Stampede withstand bashing or not fit for it?

TIA

The stampede is plenty strong with the VXL 3500 system.

Hi mm27,

Stampede 4x4 VXL is a great buy for an rtr. It is powerful, fast & waterproof.
As per the upgrade program, if you really want to upgrade something, then go for that TQi 4 channel Tx with 5 channel Rx w/ docking base. Good for future Smiley

Power wise it is indeed plentiful. Why it is awesome because the proportion of power, weight etc is optimum. You don't want to disturb that balance.

In future, you can look for 1/10 scale aftermarket systems as per your needs after you get a hang of this beast. But not needed as such.

It wheelies great & quite durable no doubt.
