People have been wanting a successor to the Blitz in a 4x4 form. HPI has answered.

First, the Apache C1 Flux which is an SCB( Short Course Buggy) and now the Apache SC Flux SCT. Both of them are based off of the D8 and Vorza so they have the racing genes in them. But, they are 1/8 scale SCT's which'll put them in a class presently occupied by the AE SC8. It would be unfair to compare these to 1/10 SCT's( But these are very close in size to 1/10 SCT's) but these cars will be EPIC!!! Hope HPI gets these out and they don't have problems like the XS Flux did. Chances are low since these are coming from proven and race winning platforms. Both of them come with the Alphastar 2350 Kv system which is presently used in the Savage Flux 2350 and a Q- base ESC which essentially is a Castle Creations Mamba Max Pro.

I'm looking forward to seeing these bad boys in action....

Mugen Seiki Rules

Great. One of the best releases from HPI in recent times. Looks like a 3 diff setup. I see more sales for Associated SC8 since it has competition in it's class.

It is the HB D8 itself so i dont think there will be any issues when it comes to performance, handling and reliabilty. More than the SC im more excited about the DB cause it looks super cool. This will finally add some more participants in the 1.8th scale category along with the SC8e

Mugen Seiki Rules

Yes Sidd. Buggy looks great. But it's too realistic. Heard many people say that realistic looks hamper handling. Maybe the reason why our regular buggies don't look anything like the real Baja or Dakar buggies.

Will be nice for collectors and also someone who loves detail. I am excited about the SC. Hopefully they will price it well. SC8e is expensive.

Expect it to retail at less than 39k in India with all taxes. We might be launching it a week before international release. So expect deliveries in december.

A nitro version should follow soon.

It still shows order pending. So i guess they should have it in December like us.

I know that the SC is a lot more practical, but i will still go with my heart and go with the C1. I just the realism. The only problem is which category will i be allowed to race in incase i get one. SC or Buggy???

I think they'll stick you in electric open. No SC guys will allow you to stick it on track Tongue

Giggle

It'll be fun to see this bad boy in action. I spent the whole day calculating the power to weight ratio of my Slash at present and the Apache SC Grin

Flux is a brushless system. Makes your car go faster than the brushed setup. More power too.
Its an exact copy of Castle Creations products, only minor difference.

Flux refers to their electric brushless line of rc in general. Most of the nitro cars were made available in brushed electric setup. Later they were available in brushless setup - flux.

^^

I have heard that they come with slightly different firmware from factory. If you have the Castle Link it's not a problem...

But their sidewinder SV2 copies have had a bad run in the Savage Flux XS. The MMP runs well in there but needs a BEC if you're using a high power servo...
