Title: Savage XS Flux vs Savage X 4.6
Post by: rakeshrao on March 08, 2015, 04:13:34 PM
Hello guys..... I was thinking to buy an offroad monster. I'm stuck between the electric savage xs flux (1/16) vs the nitro Savage X 4.6
What would the owners of these trucks recommend? I guess I'll do a bit of bashig more than racing.. Everybody's opinions are welcome. :)

I don't own/ have experience with either one of those but their abilities are (obviously) quite different. Naturally, the 4.6 can handle rough terrain with ease.

If you're driving in densely populated areas, you might want to consider the noise factor of nitro.

The XS flux will be relatively easier to use since it's electric. If you're experienced with nitro or are willing to learn, nitro will be easy to work with as well. Nitro will require more clean up after a run though. Overall, the 4.6 will need more maintenance but will feel more realistic. The XS will be easier to use but is almost as fast as the 4.6.

As far as racing goes, you won't find organized MT racing.

Savage FLux is better choice... Tho there is a lot of difference bw the size of the both savage xs is 1/16 and savage 4.6 is 1/8..
