Point 1 - Always turn on the TX before RX :)

Quick search on Google popped this (http://traxxas.com/support/Model-runs-circles-andor-does-not-respond-transmitter-controls) out.

Friend,

First of all never connect a model or turn on a model (car, plane, heli, boat, glider or anything) first.

Always turn of the transmitter/radio/remote first and only then turn on the receiver/model connected to the receiver.

And while turning off, always turn off the receiver/model connected to the receiver first and then followed by the transmitter.

Its simple to remember but easy to forget. "First in - last out". Transmitter first to turn ON and last to turn OFF.

This is the basic thumb rule you have to follow.

Coming to your problem, please check the trims on the transmitter if they have been set to neutral position or the position where the car does not start moving forward.

If you do not know the neutral setting of trims, follow the below steps:

1) Place the car on an elevation with all the wheels in air
1) Turn ON the transmitter first
3) Connect the battery to the car
4) Turn ON the receiver on the car
5) If the wheels start moving, turn the throttle trim anti-clockwise (generally) and see if the throttle reduces or the wheels stop spinning
6) If the throttle reduces / wheels stop spinning, then slowly fine tune the trims to the point where the wheels are not spinning but with just a slight touch on the throttle, the wheels spin

That would be your neutral point of the throttle trim.

Same thing with the steering trim, turn the trim for the steering right or left and see if the wheels are turning or not.

Once you have the wheels positioned in center with the trims (if the servo setting is not changed and is at the factory setting), then when you turn the actual steering wheel control, the wheels should turn correctly.

If done correctly assuming the servo settings on the model is the factory setting, you should resolve your problem and up and running.

CHEERS.....

Reverse your throttle channel

Reverse your throttle channel
IMO, that won't help.

Like Dharmesh said, turn the Tx on first and then the car.

Next, calibrate your ESC with the wheels off and the car elevated.

      2. there is a switch on your tx saying 50/50 and 30/70
      3.turn it to 50/50
