I own a Thunder Tiger eb4s2pro. My suspention has run out of oil and there no oil in stock anywhere for the next 2 weeks.. Im planing to use either normal engine oil 5w10 or higher for my suspention for the moment. Im not sure if its a good idea. I have read articles stating that it would leak more than recommended silicone oil for the suspention. Can someone please advice me what alternative do i have for the suspenstion oil ??.. Im from Chennai..

Depends on the viscosity. Also silicon oil is more stable and does not "break down" easily.

I bought is for 18k in Nov 2009. Now it comes with 2.4g radio so should be a little bit more exp. Its an excellent car for beginners.. Bought it from modelart in Fourm mall, Bangalore. I coundnt use the car for racing so Picked up a Jammin X1 Cr for 26k, excellent build quality & can take a good beating.

Performance is excellent bro that because of the engine. Some of the parts tend to break fast if you are not smooth rider. If you are plannin to race with it, i suggest u buy a better car. If you are going to just drive up and down ur street then get EB4S2. Since most of the part are available with model art, gettin spares would not be difficult. Regular race happen at pit stop. Me & my team will be heading to pitstop this sunday for a race with the b'lore team. y dont u have a look at all our cars then buy a good one for ur self. You will know exactly how each perform and then buy the one that suits you..

While I'm not an expert, after lots of reading I bought some suspension grease (lithium) for very cheap and it's working well, but that's in a micro-scale RC truck. I got a lifetime supply for Rs. 38.

Motor oil= no anti-foaming properties, has multi-viscosity, and has detergents in it (bad for seals).forpc jiofilocalhtml.run

Motor oil will foam in a suspension absorber. You can get a quart of moto fork oil from a moto shop for $6-8. That is cheap in compairison to the cost of your fork.
