Why onroad? Onroads are not meant to be driven hard. Let me know what you have in mind and I can suggest something.

Where is your track? Is it part of a workshop?
A drifter anyways can't go that fast, so I don't think durability should be an issue.

^^ That. If you're getting a new track, go offroad ;)

The LRP will make for an ok drifter with a locked diff and drift tires. Or else you can get used AE TC4's and convert them for drifting. I won't suggest high end stuff since people will be driving these cars and you'll be buying many of them. It would be nice to know your name too. :)

Oh and welcome to RC India. :)

Hey since you are in Bangalore a Thunder Tiger RC On-road car will be a good buy. The drive train is all metal and strong. Wheels/tyres are available on ebay. Spares are easily available in Bangalore.
I have a TTr XXT and find it easy to source spares.
Where will the new track be located?

Would you be willing to convert it to an off-road track sometime later? If you would, I'd love to use the facility...

Hi,

Tesla Roadster is a best electric car. This car clears away the fact that electric cars cannot be stylish and appealing. The marvelous car is built of carbon-fiber.

This reply just made this thread all the more interesting. I guess too much Google can never be a good thing. Oh yeah, this is my first post after a long term hiatus! Hope all of you are doing great! ;)

On topic: Its great to see a new track come up in Bangalore. Wish you all the best. Stick to Traxxas, HPI or TT. Have the best local support. I've been off the scene for a long time. So this may be dated information!
