There's not a lot of info on these yet.

The motor is a little weak for 1/8 duty, IMO.

Get something more mainstream. Why have you chosen this one, price, looks? And what is your kind of use?

ECX is a good brand. The ECX Ruckus is one tough 2wd MT. But this buggy seems to be a compromise for 1/8 scale.
I would have bought it to try & fitted a bigger motor but there seems to be no room to make that change.
Check out Ofna Nexx8 at Joy Rising Hobby. Its really good to start with.

Thanks all for the replies  Smiley

Finally bought the revenge..... Got a chance to run it for a few hours.... Loved it..... Grin, and then I did the most foolish thing..... Undecided Got a lipo with deans connector and had ec3 connector on the esc.... Cut out the ec3 connector and tried to solder the deans to the awg13 wires coming off the esc.... Failed miserably  Cry.... Ran around tryin to find a guy to do it for me.... No success ..... Visited model art and they said they don't have the equipment to do it....  So now hit the wall..... Now wondering what to do next  Head Scratching.... Is it better to get another ec3 connector or try to find somebody to solder on the deans? Help Me

Will be posting the running videos as soon I can have it running again....

Congrats for your purchase  Smiley
I understand your problem. The support for r/c activities is dismal in our country..sad!!
Go to some electrician & tell him to solder heavy duty type not ordinary electronics type. But then he maybe reluctant so buy some item from him like a tester or better a multimeter  Grin. Helpful item.

Buy something like this harness:

I have gone through all of this & it sucks Angry

Hi. Try scratching up the dean's metallic face with a file or sandpaper. Will definitely make it easy for soldering it. If all else fails, pm me your contact number and i'll help you out with it. Cheers!

Mugen Seiki Rules

I saw the ECX Cars in a local shop in the US. They are pure RTR type cars. They are not meant to be upgraded or even repaired. Just run, run and dump or exchange. The store has resale ECX cars once the users upgrade. But nice value for money.

Been running the revenge for about two weeks now.... Learning the ropes of driving without crashing. Posting a few pics here. Finding it hard to find a place to drive it around in bangalore.
