Actor.. Singer.. Soldier.. And pioneer of rock n roll.. And heart throb.. He started the culture of dancing on stage.. Before him ppl use to clap n sing. .Haha.. His songs have depth n meaning.. He was a singer who was pulled into movies as well.. He hated his manager for this coz he used to convince him saying.."my boy my boee...." He was among the few artist who had a respecteble position in society n unlike other contemporary artist who turned drug addicts... All his songs were master piece... Most of these guys were old retired officers from armed forces.. Its was amazing talking to them.. They wud reply in lyrics of elvis songs.. They had alot of elvis belongings.. Like jacket, wallet. .etc which they had bought in auction..one of them even had a copy his birth certificate.. N piles of records of elvis.. I had Never seen a fan club like dat.. On Elvis's birthday we had Elvis tribute show at HRC pune.. Alot of bands were invited to perform elvis.It was unforgettable... PS- Led Zepplin 's lead guitarist Jimmy Page used to play in Elvis's concerts before he made a band with Robert Plant.. Yes the Jimmy Page another legend of rock who composed Stairway to Heaven.. The unforgetable true rock star.. |
