Title: Aircraft Simulator
Post by: asinghatiya on November 26, 2010, 03:39:55 PM
I am looking for a flight simulator (not RC simulator). I have Microsoft X simulator. Is there any other simulator which is better than this and I also wanna buy some good joystics & throttle set to enhance experience.

please advice  :help:

In my opinion Microsoft Flight Simulator X is the most realistic flight simulator ever. Depending upon your budget you can buy a simple joystick(i.e, a yoke) or u can buy a complete flight system comprising a yoke, Throttle and pedals. Just search on ebay.in, there are many such items available.

People might claim other simulators are better but Flight Simulator X is the best you can get, expandable to infinity. Logitech has the best joysticks for FSX.

I use a logitech 3d pro to play FSX and the feel is really good. However, one of my friend has a complete logitech flight system including the throttle, rudder, etc  (:|~ (:|~ and i had an opportunity fly in FSX with it, and i have no words to describe how realistic it feels. For now, i have to stick with my joystick but hopefully ill get one in future and yeah also hope that microsoft launches a new version of Flight simulator in the near future.

Mine is the same as Rohit. Its twisting works for the rudder. My joystick had a problem where it had a slight left rudder always. At first,I would trim it out and would use the yaw damper. Finally,I disabled the Z axis.

It is available on ebay.in, buy it online from there. It should also be locally available in your city(though i am not sure), usually u get them in electronic malls like the e-mall in kolkata. I don't have any idea about your city.
