The only reason I feel its fake is cause they'd have to be really dumb to come to earth! But of course every village has an idiot

I remember something an eminent scientist said once.If the aliens are advanced enough to reach the Earth,why would they be in secluded spaces?They would land on the lawn of the Whit House or something.An 'advanced civilization' would have no need to hide itself if they took the effort to make it to our planet.As of now,we are alone but hopes are high that other intelligent life forms will be found.

What sorta bums me out is that humans are perhaps the most inefficient of all species and probably the only life form incapable of reciprocating what nature provides us. If an alien life form advanced enough to travel light years do come to earth, their primary objective would be to eradicate us thereby preserving earth. I know I'm not alone in this cause I've read a lot of people echo the same thought. The foremost being Stephen Hawking.

Also survival of the fittest theory still holds, and our definition of fittest is very skewed. Intelligence is not the best adaptation for survival. Most astrophysics believe that we will never be visited by intelligent aliens because they would have destroyed themselves before they become capable of developing technology to travel such distances.

Its a clear fake!
The 'Grey' is modeled after autopsied grey of the 1947 Roswell Crash, which was also a fake! 
What gave away the credibility of the video is the 'curly' phone wire hanging on the wall. AT&T/Bell didn't make those 'curly' wires until 1952, but the video is claimed to be made in 1947. Epic fail!

Sometimes the best planned hoaxes fail due to the smallest mistakes. I cant remember which, but a famous period movie took a huge dive cause one of the extras was wearing a digital watch

It's still interesting though. I feel its a human tendency to be never happy with what we have. What if Aliens don't want to travel?

In that case, i'd like to add that i've seen a discovery chnl show abt skeptics trying to proove that man never made it to the moon at all. It was a hoax.. They claimed NASA had all ''arranged'' it in a highly sofisticated studio. Among the many things they pointed out was, that since there's no atmosphere on the moon, most/some of the heavenly bodies such as stars should've been atleast faintly visible in those photographs which were clicked on the moons surface..which was'nt the case. Not only that, some of the footprints on the surface didnt seem to match with any of the crew's. Also raised suspicion abt the fact that if the socalled mission was so succesful, how come ''we'' never went back?
But obvious that the 'authorities' were very defensive about the whole issue and tried hard to counter the skeptics.

The aliens must have found this and thought, 'my god these humans do love tetris, and here jack was telling me to talk to them, backward fools'

This is the so called "wow" signal right?

If you are still in doubt read about (LRRR) lunar laser ranging retroreflector. Its a laser reflector installed on moon by the apollo 14 crew. It is used to measure distance between moon and earth and seismic activity on the moon by pointing a laser at it from earth. It still works and any one can apply to buy some lab time to work on it.

 Emotional outbursts against existance of socalled ET forms is fine..  can anybody here proove that they absolutely dont/cannot exist. would be interesting to know. 

They probably might exist.We have found many planets within the so called "goldilocks zone" where life can be found.Just that we haven't found it yet.But the chances of finding an advanced(Tier III) civilization are bleak.Whatever life we might find would be microbial.

Intelligent life form might be more common in the universe then we can ever imagine. But finding them is very close to impossible. The probability of intelligent life form destroying itself is way higher than they being discovered by other civilization OR they becoming capable of developing technology to discover other civilizations.
Quoting Stephen Hawking "intelligent life occurs like sparks in the universe, they just come and go too fast to be able to contact each other"

All ppl denying.... simply need to give it a thought/respect..for a few moments atleast , before claiming that just "we" have the right to exist..n nothing else!

In the vastness of space the probability of a life form as intelligent or more than us is highly likely.... But the chances of finding or communicating with them is higly unlikely because of the sheer vastness of space itself...

Somehow I agree. There has been a lot of debate about this. But the main reason I believe it was a hoax is cause if we did it once, why haven't we done it again? I mean everytime we accomplish something big or small, they try and beat their own record. But when it comes to the moon..


Now that is one the reasons I like to believe that we did make it to the moon.
