Hi
I came through this post while I was searching for parcels which get stuck with Delhi customs.
I have been ordering many things from Aliexpress.com since last 2 years, mostly I get my parcels in 20-25 days or otherwise they get returned to the origin.
But this time my Registered post parcel - has reached India since 9th November and is lying at Delhi customs since 12th Nov. What should I do now?
Generally once the parcel reaches India, I receive it within a week. But this time its been more than 10 days.

i will share my experience about custom,
yes its true, that custom clearance became headache for many persons who used to buy items from abroad.
i think its simple if your item gets stuck in custom.
the think we need to do is...only need to spend money. there are many shipping companies who do custom clearance also.
and they can easily do your custom clearance.

i ordered a nail art kit from china from 8th of jan it shows that it has been Sent for Customs Verification n from then there is no progress in status.

What should i do.  please help me...

May be they are decorating their nails..

Jokes apart..Which method have you used for shipping? If its via registered parcel..I expect atleast 15 days time for parcel to be delivered.

ya it was via registered parcel... so u mean it takes around 15 days to get cleared from customs?

No no one can tell how many days it will take to clear once it reached customs...
As it is a nail art thing.. They will be forwarding it soon. and the tracking will say "forwarded to customs" until you receive the item.. Giggle Giggle

The tracking system isnt that reliable..mine once showed send to customs and after a week I got the item without any update on the tracking status

   actually that is not the problem with the tracking system.. the customs wont provide the forwarding data with the parcel website...

i had placed order for a cd -from digital navy--usa. i have received mail from digital navy saying it was dispatched on 22-1-2013 by us first class mail.image of the same is attached. i am yet to receive the same. i wish to know how do i inquire about this from inida post. i talked to my local goregaon post office-they wanted the --bar code no. of the dispatch--but i could not see any in the dispatch slip attached. any clues? regards-pravin

the cd ordered from digital nay (dispatched on 22/1/13 by usps first class mail) is yet to be delivered to mumbai address, as on 03-03-2013
any idea where should i take up this in post office? my local post office at goregaon-mumbai was not much help. =pravin
when this cd lands in india who deals with this ?will it be the foreign post office?

hi guys, just to let you all know that thr was a technical problem at IPC tracking website from past few days (IndiaPost helpline CC told me that)

My Issue: My frnd has sent me some old PC parts or i should say whole PC without monitor etc..

Current tracking shows:

I agree with leabres. Same happened with me. They will charge but you wont have to go to the customs. It will come to your local post office.

Its actually a PC (includes- cabinet, i3 processor, RAM 8gb, Motherboard, power supply unit)
Its a gift from a friend who had many PC parts with him Smiley

It wasn't undervalued i guess since it is used stuff.
