Yaa that right it takes a couple of days or upto a week in some cases but if it is send to domestic location you will get it for sure!

Recieved my tablet,  seller declared it as a 55$ tablet, no custom, plus no damage to item, took only 1 week to dilevered by EMS, thanks for helping aman

Duty Charged on rs 5000 at 41.49% i.e 2075+30=2105
Total amount rs 2105 is all that I had to pay.
Am extremely exited will infor about other things after I open this Pack.

I just registered on this forum as I am in need of your guidance from the experts here. I had ordered a PC game from Shop.to (UK Online Retailer of PC Games) - the game is Battlefield Hardline for PC, as you may know EA stopped releasing Disc for their PC user from last year and you can only buy them digitally. That was not an option for me, so with much hesitation I opted to import the game from outside after reading this forum Indian Video Gamers Forum.

So I did a trial run and ordered Tropico 4 and it was delivered to me in 6 days, no customs - no problem. Tracking Number and Tracking Number - Now it didn't cost me much, it was about Rs. 900 including Shipping by Royal Mail (International Signed). So it was delivered without any problem.

Now here is my Battlefield Hardline (Tracking Number and Tracking Number), can you please see if it has been in customs as I am quite new to this and don't know anything regarding these things. I have already paid around Rs. 4600, so did they held back this item because of it's price. The first order of mine, the Tropico 4 trial run made one thing clear to me, the package was not opened by Customs in any way and as far as I remember, I checked the whole package and there was no mention of the valuation of the item outside. So I am hoping it's the same this time but I am worried because it's already taking too much time.

I just don't know what to do, please help I am from Guwahati.

Now You dont need to worry as Your Game Is sent to Domestic Location That Is to you. So dont worry you will receive it soon and yes if you see your Tracking Status You Will see that it didnt go to customs and was Directly Sent to You On 21st.
I Understand your problem as at first you received your first order a little bit fast but now it has Became little bit late this is because sometimes it happens.Well Dont worry you will Receive your parcel soon.Well Actually In 2 to 3 business days it should be delivered to you.

Please note, that the merchant I bought this from only had USPS priority international shipping option. Now, for the questions,
1. Has my package cleared customs? (I see no record custom info. or any retained status)
2. Do I have to pay any duty?
3. How long will I have to wait to get my package?
   (PS: I asked a friend of mine from Nagpur who ordered another variant for approx. 700$ and he said he didn't have to pay any kind of duty)
4. If I go to the post office to enquire about my parcel, will it attract any unwanted attention?

First Of All Welcome To The Forum.Now I see that your Parcel Has Returned from Customs So its Not A Problem. I think it should reach you soon As You live In Chennai. As Soon as the Status ' Send Item To Domestic Location' you will probably get it in 1 to 2 working days as you live In Chennai as soon as the status gets updated. So you don't need to worry now mate.And Yes About Duty I can not say about Duty I really don't know about that. It May be Charged or it may not actually It Depends On Many Things. But I hope that you don't have to pay any Duties.If you don't mind can you tell me The Tracking Number Please???
So don't worry You should Get it soon.You don't need to go Post Office Actually. Once the Status Item Send to Domestic Location Gets updated then you can use India Post Website Tracking i.e domestic Tracking To know the parcel Whereabouts.
So you should get it soon.

The thing that worries me is that the status did not get updated to "Send to domestic location" a few hours after return from customs, unlike many a status  that I've seen on this and many other forums.
BTW the tracking number is CJ428484843US. Let's hope that I don't have to pay any duty after all

but it is still with Chennai Foreign Post [Customs] they are saying it will take another 2 weeks get cleared.

I contacted the Customs and they told me that they have not received the parcel till yet.

What do I do now...the item was dispatched from Kolkata, so there us no use of asking them and how could it be possible that even after 2 weeks they haven't received it or is it that the updating of the status maybe slow...Can anyone please help me what might have happened?!

uparu:- First Of all Welcome To The Forum. Now As its a smartwatch Its not restricted to import mate. So don't worry if they are saying that it will get cleared in 2 weeks then I think they mean it and will be surely be cleared. So what I think is you will have to be patient in this. I understand its coming to be one month but its the only way mate. And one thing I am more worried about is that Does the smartwatch is more than 2000 rs including shipping and all If yes then it can be a problem mate as in Registered Shipping Sometimes The parcel gets stuck because of the Things inside in it which are above 2000 rs ( i.e CIF value :- Cost,Insurance,Freight Charges). But Don't worry And Be patient I think they should clear it soon. And Sometimes they don't update it and Send to Domestic Location So its not a problem you can also receive it.
I hope this clears your doubt .

@ Vaibhav :- My Friend Yes sometimes it takes time For Customs Clearances coming from One place and going to Another because it may get late.So If Mumbai Customs Have Not received it then You have to Contact The Kolkata LCAO or FPO to know that parcel Whereabouts. Here are the Contact Details :-

Thank you for the immediate response, I am little bit worried because when i asked customs after a week of arrival of the parcel to chennai, they said at the end of march month it will be cleared, but now two more weeks...

What makes them to take so long time?

I could see several items are getting cleared from 3 to 7 days also [including Mobiles, electronic gadgets too]

Their processing rules and regulations and time limits  are not transparent.

Still Your words make me happy to wait.....

@ Arumugam :- Well I hope it gets cleared soon. I am also worried too. Yes Sometimes Indian Customs can take like 1 month to Clear. You know it happens many times.But do check with them by calling after 4 to 6 days.
