I feel you do not understand. Your money is gone. So, the best thing you can do is not worry about it.
You cannot return the package to the seller. And you were sad but still 'laughing out loud'. Can't believe it.

This shows your irresponsible attitude. Instead of cursing, you should have verified whether you can import drones or not.
Peace.

I agree with @parthjai.
Mr.xlentballu is being irresponsible.
We're NOT demotivating you. Your inability to differentiate the facts and content of demotivation suggests you're pretty much 'immature' to use a forum like this. We're not the bad guys. We're just trying to educate you. Take it in the right sense.

Sorry but I could not find anything that foul in his language. He tried to fan a very burning issue and that every citizen should. We do have some unrealistic rules and regulations and instead of criticizing the same we are blaming our brothers.

@modeler321
There was nothing foul in his language. But he can definitely stop using the tone he uses with the people he talks to.
I know laughing is good for health
but 'Laughing Out Loud' in every post is pretty dumb. He can, for sure, keep it to himself, and not post it in the forum.
There are no such rules, but they are just good manners when speaking in public. It's a public forum. A lot of people see this. One cannot use casual language here, apart from posting 'unproductive' comments.
I myself feel dumb for answering such a question.

It is a burning issue, I agree. But there are rules and regulations by the government, some of which posted in the forum itself, which should've been referred to before placing a drone order.
People are just unaware of the laws, which actually exist.

"When order is injustice, disorder is the beginning of justice"
As junior member of this forum my sincere request to all senior members to show some expression of objection against the impractical rules imposed on this sport. Since the time of control lines this hobby has failed miserably to gain considerable growth especially when compared to other similar crafts. We simply can not afford to accept anything thrown at us.

Re: All customs / parcel discussions for non-RC items
@Morakhiyasaiyam
41% is the net customs duty(10% basic customs duty+ GST), that is bound to be levied on the category that you have mentioned.
It's a wonder to me that they've asked you to return the package. But if they're supporting it, then apply for a return, and let 'sp4mm3r' take care of it.
'RS989863874NL' that's the tracking number to India. If a return is initiated, another tracking number will be provided.
But honestly, this is NOT a customs grievance forum. It's for everyone who comes here for that purpose.
Peace

Re: All customs / parcel discussions for non-RC items
Hey, so this is really important. YES MY PARCEL STUCK IN CUSTOMS.
What it was carrying: tablet pc.
Declared price:70$
From:AliExpress
Tracking Id: RB506139236SG
So, finally after long days of no updates on tracking status, I today received a letter from Jaipur customs. They have not told what documents I need to present for clearing it in the letter. They have written that the parcel is unopened till now. (I have ordered it for educational purposes. It is a low specs tablet).
My doubts:
is it possible that on my request Jaipur customs transfer it to local customs office?
What should be my best possible move now?
Should I hire a customs agent?
Will I have to present any special documents or will I have to be present there in personal?
Please guys help me ASAP.
It is super urgent.

Nidheeshji The list of documents they require is pretty clear. they have asked for your bank/credit card statement for determination of exact amount you have paid for this import etc.

I would also suggest you to mention in the letter you write to them that this is for educational and personal use only and you are ready to pay the determined duty levied.

Re: All customs / parcel discussions for non-RC items
Is it possible to transfer it to local customs? How should I write the letter? Like should I write the letter along with all the documents or....?
The list of documents they are asking is endless. I don't have that import license and all.. and there is quite a difference in declare price and actual price

Re: All customs / parcel discussions for non-RC items
What do you mean by Local Customs authority? It is present at Jaipur customs. There's no local customs authority, to my knowledge.
Import license is asked when you're doing it for commercial purposes. If so, you're liable to present it, else explain it that it's for your personal use.

That is your problem to face. You shouldn't have done that. Or at least your seller shouldn't have done that

Re: All customs / parcel discussions for non-RC items
Sorry my bad there is no local custom. Should I hire a customs agent (if he can ease my work for some hundreds)?
How much penalty on my face (162.79$ vs 70$)?
What all documents do I actually need to submit?
*Any under the table facts (if they work)?

Re: All customs / parcel discussions for non-RC items
You will end up paying more than the order value for the customs agent. No point of going for them.
About the penalty, it depends. You might be penalized or you might not be. Haven't read the letter, so go through it, give the office a call, and pay a visit if it's near you.
I guess that's all you can do from your side, as of now.
Be patient.
