I wanted to buy HUBSAN h216a x4 desire pro.
I didn't find it anywhere in india.
I tried my luck with banggood and damn, the customs detained it.

AFAIK people having proper documents can import drones.
So, what I want to know is that if there are any people on this forum or anywhere who have those documents or CONNECTIONS and can import it from China and send it to me.(obviously I will give them some profit).

Please check Indian Foreign Trade Policy 20015-20 and give the order.

As per customs DGFT Notifications 16/2015-20 & New Delhi, Dated 27 July 2016, drone import is restricted for import without WPC & DGCA Certificate.l

WPC & DCGA does not give NOC letter for import of drone/RC Heli/Walkie-Talkie like wireless & remote control gadget to an individual.
You have to be a company to apply for the NOC. Their charges are very high even more than the cost of your drone.
They are given only for commercial purposes and not for personal .
These banggood Drones can be find in Mumbai & Delhi like cities only.
Demands are high in these cities so people in Import export business orders these with other Chinese goods.

nidheesh i am assuming you are starting into this hobby?!
that drone isnt worth it..just make a racing quad.... youll enjoy it 10 times more... i mean i know itll cost twice as much but it will last much longer ... if you already knew that ignore my suggestion.
