India still waiting for LCA for more than 25 years.  

Americans rolled out P-51 Mustang during WW-II from drawing board to sky in 117 days.  That was the age when computers were not there to design aircraft.

But then,they had a requirement for it.Right now,India doesn't need planes coming out of the factory at that rate but yeah,we can (should)be a lot faster.
