a have an question regarding connecting lipo in parallel configuration.. can i connect two lipo of different power mah ( 2200mah and 5200mah)
and different brand (wolf pack and zippy) into parallel configuration.. both are 3S battery.. one is two month old( used 8 to 10 times) and one is new.. (never used) is it safe or can cause damage to any of the battery... :headscratch: :headscratch:

Although using same capacity, C Rating and brand is always recommended and a better option while clubbing LiPo's (in Parallel) but you still can use different capacities (in parallel).
Just make sure that the total current requirement is well within the limits of what both packs combined can deliver.

Also make sure to install LiPo alarm in both packs while flying so as to get alerted as soon as any of the cell from any of the battery approaches the threshold.

BTW, Doing something similar in series should be completely avoided (specially when the difference in capacity is high) since the cells from the smaller capacity LiPo won't be able to match the requirement of the current delivery from that of the larger pack (considering both cells have same C Rating)

In Parallel configuration, the cells (from both packs) assists each other in power delivery but in series the cells from the smaller capacity pack becomes the weak link in the daisy chain since the current flows through it.
