Just came across this intriguing article. Something, I felt, we should all be proud of. However, the last line of the article proved to be a damper ; "But the fact that the flying Maruti has yet to get airborne has left many sceptical about its inventor's claims."

Hey, is there any specific criteria to participate in the Aero India thingie or can anyone with a flying thing do it? Cause I wanted to show off my flying dog...
P.S. He flies when only I am watching..

By-the-way....wots so amazing if a maruti is made to fly  Huh?...... all you need is a wing to take the wight ......which I hope they have succeeded in making. they must have reduced its weight by removing unwanted assessories from it.....and it will fly like a microlight thats it.

The flying car concept is definitely there, not sure if the maruti can fly..but the below car definitely does

i think we all know about terrafugia and other experimental models(some are already flying), but imho a maruti 800 version of terrafugia will be laughing on the other side of your face.
