I need some guidance in making a 3d printer using arduino uno and cnc shield v3. i have purchased all the parts and put majority together, but am stuck in wiring up the heater head. any guidance will be immensely helpful. thanks. mob-9845771070 Title: Re: diy 3d printer help Post by: manu on March 19, 2020, 04:15:40 PM printing bed and extruder heat sensors should be connected to the arduino based board using jumper pins, external 12 v (depends on the heater) supply should be provided for heating up the (bed and extruder) filaments. What board are you using? is it a Trigorilla?

i am using arduino uno, cnc shield v3,external smps 12 v supply, tray table made using three dvd drive stepper motors, a4988 motor drivers my question is how to connect the heater. do i need a separate circuit for this?
