Hi guys,

I need help/Suggestion/Advise

Am Planning to buy a Dremmel (Rotary Tool) for my personal use from Bangood, but am scared if this will get cleared by Indian Customs.

Earlier I had bought an RC Plane thru Aliexpress and it got stuck with customs and i cud not get it cleared, I lost money as Ali express denied refund quoting clearance from Local Customs is Buyers responsibilty and over and above paid fine for importing as well.

Now i wanted to chk if anybody in this group has ordered any Rotary tool thru these sites and if they have received the same without any issues from Indian customs.

Can some body pls advise.

Buy locally. So many available on eBay & Amazon. Original Dremel, plus clones (which work fine)

I have been using this for 5+ years, find it so effective, versatile and convenient I sold my Dremel off

@ayyappanrajesh,
As sanjayrai55 said, buy locally.
For the basic rotary tool, get Dremel or a cheaper clone.
Dremel accessories are VERY expensive.
But also VERY dependable.

I have a Dremel 300 and some original accessories (expensive)
Then I found a local supplier of rotary tools/ accessories to dentists.
Some items are good, some not so good.
But the price is only 10-20% of the original, so worth exploring.
Beware of Chinese sawing discs. Absolutely useless.

Thnx a ton guys...

But the only issue is the price in India is almost double of wat is avlb online..  that makes buying online very sweet.

Is there an online site where I can buy in India a branded quality rotary tool, coz I find Amazon and eBay insanely expensive..

I think Deremel hand tools are available in local hardware stores these day. Lots of scope of bargaining.
