This guy held the record for the fastest RC car before this as well. I think it was 165mph.

People work hard to get their cars to 100mph. It'd be great to have an in-depth look at the power system he's got on there and the air flow management.

Traxxas XO-1 is a ready to run 100mph+ rc car. Many guys have been able to reach 130-140mph+ speeds. But this guys is the father if RC speed records- Nic Case. His record stands at 171mph+ n I think it's now 186mph(300kmph)....  He's collaborated with meany others teams  to build this ultimate machine - Schumacher

II think you can find most of the specs of this monster car in the link I've provided above. It's a different thing that most of his parts are custom made in collaboration with various teams n companies. Even the mighty pot is custom made from Neu Motors. Think only his radio,servo, ESC and battery are regular one

I meant to ask about the small tricks that go into making this happen. I'm surprised his tires don't balloon like crazy. Most of the speed run guys use foams. I wonder how the tires sustain the revs. I get that they're custom made but they have to be really good not to balloon.

The tyres are solid here, no foam or air based... They'll rip off otherwise, this guy has forged the wheels n other metal parts. He's crazy and we can assume how much effort n Benjamin's this guy must hv put in. Really appreciable

I too hope so, as it is he's won most of the speed record prizes but he wants the big one for 200mph+ for any RC electric.
