It's gone. Why import yourself?

Might have bought from some LHS . Pay some amount extra to a already Declining LHS market and get it , rather that cheap out and loose out to the customs. Now you will also get the Show cause notice.

You can hope - that the Customs doesn't send you a Show Cause Notice, as to why you should not be prosecuted for illegally  importing

seriously its a strange country with such rules...  & have no idea why someone cannot import a rc radio, my friends have ordered multiple radios from China to Canada & USA & delivered without any problems.. but here in India it becomes a big problem...

Each country has it’s own rules, wether one considers them right or wrong.
I’ve just returned from Bhutan, where all tobacco products are banned.
Foreigners can bring in max 200 cigarettes with 200% duty and only smoke in a few specified places authorised. Littering costs a Rs500 fine. Polluting the environment (like peeing by the roadside) attracts a fine of Rs 20,000! Importing a drone will probably mean jail.
Let’s be glad that in India, we can still get RC stuff from LHSs (though I don’t know how they manage to import!)
