Title: HELP with FlySky RX
Post by: shuraimkc on July 06, 2020, 10:46:15 PM
Hello, I had a flight one evening, Next day when I tried arming the quad, It wouldn't arm. When I dug inside it was seen that the rx wasn't working. It wouldn't light up and it was getting extremely hot. It was the crystal oscillator which was getting hot. So I changed it with the same oscillator from my old broken rx. After that a chip on the board got hot. So I went to a soldering expert and got it changed thinking perhaps it will work. After the changing of chips, The rx would now blink when I plug in the bind plug. But no matter what I do, It wouldn't bind to the tx. Any help is much appreciated 😊. (Attaching Photos of the chip which I changed)

Regards & Thanks
Shuraim

check if voltage regulator is sending out 3.3v and try replacing the microcontroller also
